Last weekend I heard the second best possible piece of news a fan could receive...the Steelers are going to the Super Bowl. Just to be clear the best news would be them actually winning. As I got the good news, there already were people trying to spoil this news. In fact, they live for it.
I was working the flight line at Charleston AFB, SC, as the game was in play. Every break I checked my phone for the score. After the game I received a barrage of text messages from all my family and friends who also root for the
Time to Get Foot Loose

Kevin Bacon and Kenny Loggins were really onto something with Foot Loose. Fighting is all about the footwork. Those with good footwork have an enormous advantage over those who don't. Why?
Having good movement on the feet affords great advantages to fighters of almost any style. For starters, you can move out of the way of an attack as opposed to taking the hit. You can move with the punch or kick and not absorb the brunt of the strike. Moving in with your strikes will add momentum to your beatdown.
Whew! There are many advantages. The first. Getting hit hurts, even when

One Brave Lost, One Sox Found
by B Kenney January 13th, 2009 | Baseball, MLB
John Smoltz, former pitcher for the Atlanta Braves, will no longer be a Brave. He has been traded to the Boston Red Sox, as of Thursday, January 8. Smoltz played for the Braves for his entire career so far and even commented that he felt he might be playing for them for the rest of his career as well. As it turns out, all that has changed due to a bigger offer.
The Red Sox offered Smoltz a one year contract for a total of $5.5 million dollars with an option to earn about $5 million extra in incentives, so long

The Perfect Storm – UFC 92
by Joe Lawrence January 7th, 2009 | Martial Arts, MMA
About two weeks ago I made a prediction about the fights of UFC 92 here on this site. I am pleased to say that every single one was wrong :) All three picks! Now that you are done laughing at me, may we continue?
The big fights yielded Rampage Jackson as victor with the first time ever knock-out of Wanderlei Silva. I was very impressed with the much improved stand-up of Rampage. He actually looked like a true striker out there.
Then onto Forrest Griffin and Rashad Evans. As usual, Rashad was losing. Forrest edged him out in the first two
