Every year I take the time and analyze the brackets and make my selections. This really is an American sporting tradition. This year I am truly blessed because my lovely wife-to-be bought the March Madness package for me on DirectTV, so I can watch every game if I so choose.
As I hunker down and eat some snacks on Thursday and Friday and on into the first weekend of the tournament, I wanted to give my picks for the Final 4 now:
East Region: #1 Seed UNC
South Region: #4 Seed Pittsburg
Midwest Region: #7 Seed Gonzaga
West Region: #1 Seed UCLA
Finals: UNC vs. UCLA
UCLA wins 78 to 72
As an ACC and East Coast guy, there is no obvious East Coast bias with these picks. I am just calling them like I see them.
